Independent Scholarship!

I am an academic who writes about and discusses controversial topics. In today's environment, unfortunately, that means I can't survive at the university. Recently, I was let go from a tenure-track position, and it seems unlikely that I am hirable at another university. Therefore, I am going to do independent scholarship, including podcasts and videos. Of course, starting up is expensive, so I would like, reluctantly, to ask for your help. I will use funds that I receive to (1) purchase good equipment (2) sustain myself while I embark on my career.
