Independent Coverage of the French Election
Donation protected
I will be in France from March 22nd until the end of April, covering the French presidential election. I plan to split my time between following the right-wing candidate Éric Zemmour and the left-wing candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon as they campaign. Both men have a real shot at making it into the second round of the election
I'll be reporting on my Substack newsletter, where in December I covered the Ghislaine Maxwell trial with daily updates from the courthouse. I'll also be writing freelance articles for various publications, and posting updates on my Twitter account.
I'm raising money to cover the boring things needed while reporting - accommodation, equipment, travel around the country, crepes...and anything else I might need so I can focus solely on reporting while I'm there.
You can fund my reporting on https://www.paypal.me/marlonjettinger"> and Patreon also.
Chip in to get a dose of one of the weirdest French election cycles in recent history, where everything is still up in the air.
You'll also get my appreciation - the Maxwell trial was a significant expansion for me, and I'm hoping for the election to be too.
