My name is Libby pierce, I’m eighteen and about to graduate high school. I was also born with cerebral palsy and use crutches as a mobility aid . Since I’m about to enter the world I struggle with what most people deem easy tasks such as going to events and stores by myself while using crutches . It’s harder to open doors and have access to the public . Due to this I’m trying to get a service dog to gain my independence and freedom in life . Having a service dog would not only help me have more control over my daily life it would ease my family’s mind knowing I wasn’t alone without help .

My family and I already found a nonprofit organization that specializes in mobility aid dogs Brush creek service animals.org. Although I’m a great candidate the price for one of their dogs is a very high sum. If I were to get a service animal it would be the greatest blessing to me .
