Independence for Anita and Her Two Girls
Donation protected
Disabled mother of two small children, in need of an accessible van. Anita 30 year old mother of two, was paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident when she was 13. She currently lives independently with her two girls. She is in need of a new accessible van so she can continue to independently care for herself and her two children. She lives in her own home, drives herself, pays her own bills, and cares for her children. She is unable to work leaving her to rely on social security which is barely enough to get by with just the necessities. She needs an handicapped accessible van with an electric ramp, lowered floor, movable driver seat, hand controls, and tie downs so she can drive herself and provide safe transportation for her children without needing to rely on someone else. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. The van in the picture is an example of what she’s needing. The total goal is 55k which would be enough for a used van with all of the accommodations I need. Gofund me starts the goal smaller and automatically raises it as donations are made. The funds will be received by her grandmother Joyce Sumrall to purchase the vehicle for her and any excess funds will be used to purchase the tag, insurance, and any additional items that is needed for her and her children.
