Verily, To Allah we belong and to Him is our return, إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ 

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, may this find you in the best health inch Allah.

On Friday July 10th, our sister Mariyam Mohammad’s father passed away and returned to Allah.

Mariyam is an amazing friend of mine and helped me shape the person I am today and the person I can look up to. She always manages to put a smile on our face and is there to brighten up the room.

She is an active member of the Muslim Student Association at the University of Manitoba,  holding multiple Quran and Islamic classes on a weekly basis.

Her father was a hardworking, compassionate man. May Allah forgive her father and grant him peace and tranquility in Jannatul Firdaus (highest level of paradise). We make duaa (prayer) for the sister and her family. May Allah give them sabr (patience).

Following her father’s return to Allah, we want to support her and her family during this difficult time.

May Allah reward any acts of kindness you have.

And may he make your donations a means for you to enter paradise.
