Incisive Consultants for ALS #ic4als
Donation protected
As part of Incisive’s annual Charitable September (where we bring awareness and charitable efforts to a cause close to our hearts), we are participating in the #weaksidestrong challenge, raising awareness and donations for ALS research and treatment.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar, ALS is a progressive neurological disease that primarily affects the nerve cells responsible for controlling voluntary muscle movements (like chewing, walking, and talking). There is currently no cure. The #weaksidestrong challenge encourages us to imagine what that might be like and help raise money to fight it! #weaksidestrong was started by Chris Snow, Assistant GM of the Calgary Flames. Chris was asked to throw out the opening pitch at a baseball game, because of his ALS diagnosis he used his non-dominant hand to throw the pitch. He showed us that we can continue to be strong using our weak side.
This year, we want to support our CRO, Corey Kosch, who recently lost his father to ALS. Before he passed, Corey was able to share with his dad that Incisive would fight to stay strong, even when part of our family was feeling weak. With that said, we invite you, your family, and your friends to join us in the #weaksidestrong challenge!
