Incarcerated transwoman needs legal representation

Hello everyone! Niyeh is a Black transwoman who is currently incarcerated in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Niyeh has been facing discrimination, violation of her rights and privacy, as well as verbal and physical abuse from transphobic officers in Pontiac system. She recently sustained a back injury from an assault from an officer. Niyeh is asking for financial help to assemble a legal team to help her hold these officers accountable.
