In the Wake of Rory Batdorf-Dwyer’s Passing

On December 25th, 2021, Rory Batdorf-Dwyer suddenly passed away, leaving behind her three boys, siblings, parents, and many friends.

My name is Sophia. Rory was a dear friend I hold close to my heart, and she was a symbol of strength and love to so many in our community. Rory was a loving single-mother, a cherished daughter and sister, and wonderful friend to many.

In the wake of her passing, Rory’s parents, Carelle and Michael, are stepping in as guardians to her children.

Carelle and Michael are a humble Baha’i couple in New Hampshire, and I have created this fundraiser in the hopes that people donate funds in support of funeral and childcare costs, to alleviate even a slight layer of heaviness they bear in this time of mourning and need.

I am normally much more articulate and poetic, but there are no words to describe the sorrow and shock so many of us are feeling at this time. Any dollars you can donate would be a blessing.
