In the time of need, I am faithful

Hello everyone! My name is Stacy Mills and I am doing this GoFundMe for the days I can not work BUT are't covered by my short term disability, hotel stays and general living needs. I went to the ER on 8.31.22 for what I thought was diverticulitis. Imagine my HUGE surprise when the ER doctor showed me a huge mass in my right lung. I quickly went through all the many steps to get it surgically removed. Spring forward to today and my first post op scans showed activity in my liver and close to my ovary. I started all this treatment @ Cleveland Clinic in Stuart but with new masses it was apparent that I need to seek better quality treatment. I chose to go to Mayo in Jacksonville and could not be happier with my decision. It is 4 hours from Stuart and to date I've had 2 appointments. It is easier to spend the night before in Jacksonville bc 8am appointments mean leaving Stuart 3amish to make sure I am not late. The results are in and the liver biopsy showed sarcoma. As I sit here on this Memorial Day, I do not know the next step BUT I will update this page the moment I do. Mayo is the right decision for me as they are the number one hospital in the country for sarcoma. Having to do this GoFundMe is a very HUMBLE experience and I APPRECIATE any donation!
