At just 17 years old, Elliot Javay Raibon was sentenced to adult prison for his role in a tragic crime. A life was lost, and Elliot has carried that weight ever since.

Now, more than 36 years later, he’s still incarcerated—one of the only juveniles in Colorado not granted earned time under the law. The Department of Corrections is violating his rights, and he needs $2,500 in court fees to challenge this injustice.

Elliot writes:
“Sometimes it’s hard to fathom how I survived prison as a kid and now adult. Who I have become does not align with who I was. The minute I put the circumstances outside of my thinking, it becomes criminal—because we are products of our environment.”

This campaign is not about forgetting the past. It’s about helping someone who has served his time, transformed his heart, and is ready to help our community heal.

Please donate what you can, and share if you’re moved. Your support helps restore justice and brings one man closer to the life he’s fought so hard to reclaim.
