In the memory of Stephen. Ultimul drum, Stephen!

Stephen was born in Welwyn Garden City on July 25, 1959 with situs inversus (having the heart and the rest of the organs on the opposite side).

He was cheerful, friendly, with an open heart for everyone. He stood out as being very independent, always striving to manage on his own.

We got married in December 2011. On the anniversary of 10 years of marriage, with an open soul he received the Sacrament of Holy Baptism in the Orthodox Church followed by the religious Wedding. All this time I had a loving, devoted husband by my side, not imagining for a moment that he would leave on his last day so soon.

Stephen died in Milton Keynes, University Hospital after 3 weeks of chronic pain. Before passing to the Lord, he suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes, kartagener syndrome, Ramsey Hunt syndrome, primary ciliary dyskinesia, dependent on oxygen at least 16 hours a day.

This fundraising is ment to cover the funeral costs, the financial situation being drastically decimated after the last 6 years of torment.

Stephen s-a nascut in Welwyn Garden City la data de 25 iulie 1959 cu situs inversus (avand inima si restul organelor in partea opusa).

A fost o fire vesela, prietenoasa, cu inima deschisa pentru toti. S-a remarcat ca fiind foarte independent straduindu-se mereu sa se descurce cu fortele proprii.

Ne-am casatorit in decembrie 2011. La aniversarea celor 10 ani de casnicie, cu sufletul deschis a primit Taina Sfantului Botez in Biserica Ordoxa urmata de Cununia religioasa. In tot acest timp am avut langa mine un sot iubitor, devotat, neimaginadu-mi nici o clipa ca va pleca pe ultimul dum atat de repede.

Stephen s-a stins din viata pe patul spitalului Milton Keynes, University Hospital dupa 3 saptamani de chinuri crancene. Inainte sa treaca la Domnul, a suferit de boala pulmonara cronica obstructiva (BPOC), diabet, sindromul kartagener, sindromul Ramsey Hunt, dischinezie ciliara primara, dependent de oxigen cel putin 16 ore pe zi.

Aceasta strangere de fonduri se face pentru a acoperi costurile de inmormantare, situatia fianciara fiind drastic decimata in urma ultimilor 6 ani de chin.
