In the Memory of Lucas Pippitt

Hi, my name is Tyler Richey I am one of Tylen and Lucas’s best friends’. I am setting up this gofundme for the family of Lucas Pippitt, his wife & 3 young children, Rory, Lane, & Greylynn. 

 On the night on July 16, 2022, Lucas was in a very tragic car accident in Parker, Colorado, that cost him his life. He was gone instantly from their lives. He was the heart and light of their family. Those who knew Lucas knew him as a selfless and happy man who loved his family unconditionally, always walking around with a huge smile on his face. He wanted nothing more than to spend every waking moment with his wife & children. 

Lucas enjoyed life as a creative chef and growing his knowledge of food. He was always experimenting with recipes and sharing his new creations with everyone. Recently Lucas had taken up a hobby of tattooing. He spent hours daily after work perfecting this new talent of his. He loved sharing and showing all his work. 

Recently Lucas had taken on the role of the sole provider for his family, just a little over 1 month ago, as Tylen had just taken time away from her job as a CNA in a hospital and attending nursing school, to take care of their 3 year old son Lane, as he was just diagnosed with Asperger‘s and requiring 20-30 hours of therapy weekly. Lucas stepped up to take care of their family in all ways. Tylen and the kids are now trying to navigate this new world without a husband and father. 

 Their youngest daughter had just turned 1 on July 1st. Lucas had recently picked up her gifts from their family’s home and they were in his car during the accident. All gone. Though it doesn’t matter to her as she will never know, but they lost all her new clothing and toys. 

 Their 5 year old Rory now spends her days sad and missing her Daddy terribly. Asking why he won’t be at her first day of school. She’s also asked “is my Daddy a star?” To which we told her “yes”. So now at night she goes outside to wave at her “Daddy Star” and asks if he can still see her.

 Lucas left this earth still giving to others by being able to donate himself to 4 adults and 1 child. Other donations to come in the future as well. 

 I’ve set up this go fund me for the family he leaves behind so they are able to give Lucas the funeral Celebration that he deserves, as Tylen is paying for this all by herself (along with your donation help). She is also going to need help to provide for her family for a little while until she’s able to get back to work. 

Please find it in your heart to help this family with their expenses & things the children need now and in the future. Giving them a little time to grieve in peace without worrying about the funeral, bills or any other daily needs they may have. Also, to help with the childrens’ futures.
