Hello Everyone,

This GoFundMe is to raise funds for funeral home costs for Jeanette Polmanteer, my mother, and is survived by me, her son, Brian.

Mom passed away around 2:45am on October 21st, 2025 at UW Medical Center in Seattle,WA due to complications with her heart and lungs caused by an infection that began in early October.

The doctors did everything they could to help her, but unfortunately Mom was not able to win this fight and passed away in her sleep; peacefully and without pain, just like she wanted.

I am asking for your assistance with raising funds to cover her cremation costs, administration fees and death certificate copies. Any additional funds will go towards moving fees and living expenses for Brian (me) while I relocate from our previously shared apartment to my new accommodations. If we happen to go beyond the set goal, the remaining funds will go towards traveling expenses as Mom's final wish was to have her ashes scattered to any location that I traveled to. Whether that be back home to California to be with her siblings, right here in Washington where she lived in these final years, or to the far corners of the world in the distant future.

I appreciate everyone that has given support, emotional or otherwise and I hope to talk to you all soon to share memories of this wonderful woman who raised me with such grace and dignity. Even when times were tough, she never let it show in our home life and was so self sacrificing to make sure that I could grow up into the man whose words you are reading now. But it also shows how amazing she was because of the people she surrounded herself with, as throughout this difficult time, so many people reached out. They always asked for updates, not only on how she was doing, but how I was doing as well and if there was anything they could help with. These kind gestures, told me how truly loved she was, the impact that she's had on everyone's lives and that they always considered us as family, even to those who weren't directly related.

I only wish I had better news for everyone and that they could have spent more time with Mom like they wanted, so I hope that this will help give closure to everyone who needs it. She loved you all and will miss you in her next journey into the beyond. Her final words to everyone were "I love you and see you on the other side" and whatever is out there for us after this life, I hope that when it is our time, we can indeed meet our loved ones again "on the other side".

Please do not feel any obligation to donate, but every little bit helps and I will forever be grateful for the kindness and generosity that you have all shared. I opted for this GoFundMe so that if you would like to remain anonymous, you have that freedom and even if you can't; your thoughts, well wishes and goodbye messages for Mom are more than enough.

Thank you all, sincerely,

Brian Polmanteer
