In the Memory of Franek Jarzyna

Dear Friends,

On Sunday morning, April 10, 2021, Franek Jarzyna joined all the angels in heaven, leaving his parents and three younger siblings in despair.

Franek was born with charge syndrome, a genetic disease that made normal life impossible. At the age of two, he underwent heart surgery, during which his breathing tube was accidentally disconnected, which in turn resulted in cerebral hypoxia. During examinations to determine the extent of the brain damage, doctors found a brain tumor. However, he could not be operated on due to Franek's weak heart and the risk that he would not wake up from another anesthesia. Doctors gave him only six months to live. Luckily, Franek did not know the doctors' verdict and, in spite of everything, he lived on bringing happiness for his parents and astonishment for the doctors.

In December of last year, Franek turned 9 years old. It was 9 years filled with operations, treatments and doctor visits. 9 years of beeping breathing and eating machines. 9 years of uncertainty. 9 years of joy each and every new day. Franek could not speak or walk, but his sincere and loving smile was contagious. Franek touched the hearts of everyone he met on his short journey here on Earth. Franek was inspiring to many by his will to fight and his will to live. However, the fight was difficult and doomed to fail from the very start.

Iwona and Marcin looked after Franek with great dedication, sacrifice and love. Despite the misfortune caused by the disease of their son, they remained cheerful and helpful. Despite the financial burden of treatment costs and Iwona's inability to work full-time, they were always ready and open to help others. Now they are the ones who need help.

I set up this fundraiser in the hope of raising funds to cover the funeral expenses, but also for giving Iwona and Marcin the opportunity to mourn the passing of their beloved son without having to worry about money for their current life. Their world and hearts fell apart into a million pieces. They both need time to glue them together if that is even possible.

Rest in peace our little Angel.

Your aunt Ania.

Drodzy Przyjaciele,

W niedzielny poranek do grona aniolkow dolaczyl Franek Jarzyna, zostawiajac w rozpaczy swoich rodzicow i trojke mlodszego rodzenstwa.

Franek urodzil sie z charge syndrom, choroba genetyczna uniemozliwiajaca normalne zycie.

W grudniu zeszlego roku Franek skonczyl 9 lat. Bylo to 9 lat wypelnionych operacjami, zabiegami, badaniami i infekcjami. 9 lat pikajacych maszyn do oddychania i jedzenia. 9 lat niepewnosci. 9 lat radosci z kazdego nowego dnia. Franek nie potrafil mowic ani chodzic, jednak jego szczery i pelny milosci usmiech byl zarazliwy. Franek dotknal serc wszystkich, ktorych spotkal na swojej krotkiej drodze. Franek inspirowal wola walki i checia do zycia. Jednak toczyl on walke nierowna, z gory skazana na porazke.

Iwona i Marcin z wielkim oddaniem, poswieceniem i miloscia opiekowali sie Franiem. Pomimo nieszczescia spowodowanego choroba synka pozostali osobami radosnymi i uczynnymi. Pomimo finansowego obciazenia kosztami leczenia i niemozliwoscia Iwony do pracowania na pelny etat, byli zawsze gotowi i otwarci na niesienie pomocy innym. Teraz to oni potrzebuja pomocy.

Spoczywaj w spokoju maly aniolku.

Twoja przyszywana ciocia Ania.
