- Hey my name is Gael, I am Kevin's younger brother. This fund raiser is to help support our family through this unexpected difficult time. Here's a little background story about Kevin. Our family moved to the U.S seven years ago. Kevin attended Middletown High School where he received his Diplomat as a high honor student. Kevin later on attended The University of Connecticut for four years and received his Bachelor's in Civil engineering in the month of may this year. Kevin took a trip to Ottawa, Canada to visit a couple friends on August 10th. He arrived there safe and sound. On August 12th Kevin was out visiting the city with his friends, they went on and drove to a lake near by to get in the water and enjoy the sunset. Kevin dove in the water for a swim with his friends the first time and came out the water. Then went on for a second time and was trapped by a powerful water current and sunk deep in the water. Friends and people near by rushed and tried to rescue with no success. The Canadian police the department later on arrived on the scene and started searching for Kevin. On the 13th, the next day, divers were finally able to find his body deep underwater and concluded the investigation. This is a really difficult time for my family and I, any amount of contribution will help and is greatly appreciated. Kevin was a kind and genuine soul. He was an inspiration for many of us and paved the way for us who looked up to him. Our hearts are filled with sadness and sorrow as he has left us so soon. Kevin will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
