Story

On January 16th, my husband, Nick, was involved in a jet ski accident while he and his friends were doing a beach cleanup. In the blink of an eye, our world has been turned upside down. Nick broke several bones: his neck, his back, his ribs, and his leg. There are several other injuries making his recovery long and painful. If you know us, Nick is always working. He also coaches kids' sports, helps friends in need, and gives back to his community whenever he can. Our kids are struggling seeing their dad like this. I'm trying to figure out how to keep everything together while starting a new job. I'll just say right now, we're really at a loss without him here. So many people have reached out to see how they can help, that I'm overwhelmed. I truly appreciate it. We're the helpers, not the ones to ask. Everything donated will be used to pay the hospital bills, surgery costs and living expenses that I can't currently cover with my job. Medical equipment might be in the future as we don't know yet.
