In tents across Australia - Carevan Fundraiser
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of The Care Van Foundation Limited and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
On December 21st Wassim (aka Rocky) and Gabe will be riding their bikes from Melbourne to Albury to raise much-needed funds for the Carevan Foundation. They will be doing it rough, just like the homeless, with no support vehicle and just what they can carry and pull behind them on their bikes.
Wassim is the owner of La Maison restaurant on the causeway between Albury and Wodonga. Along with a number of other businesses, La Maison was instrumental in keeping Carevan going and achieving its mission during the pandemic, where sit-down meal services were simply not possible.
Carevan’s ethos is that ‘it’s easier to care than to turn away’. Their vision is to encourage “us” and “them” to become “we”, by developing a sense of belonging and a sense of identity in those less fortunate in our community.
Carevan’s meal service is now fully up and running again, providing meals to hundreds of people and families every week. This support has never been more important than it is today. We need your help to raise funds to keep it going and we thank you for your support.
Please join Rocky and Gabe by contributing to this wonderful cause.
