In Support of Thien-An and his Family

I am reaching out to you as part of a network looking to support our dear friend Thien-An Nguyen AKA Anky, husband to Christina, and father to sweet baby Leia, age two. Thien-An, a 43 year old Nyack High School grad, class of 99, is in the fight of his life. Just before the holidays Anky was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma, a relatively rare and largely untreatable cancer with a high mortality rate. It was swiftly identified as being wide spread and at stage 4. Thien-An's treatment is currently palliative, but we know he is not done with his fight for more time with his baby girl and incredible wife, that deserve so much more of his love.

Thien-An is a decorated Marine, having served our country for years with honor. He has spent his entire life working hard for the needs of his country, and of his family, he's a sarcastic son of a bitch, mediocre at tennis, and a very special friend to us all. And if he cannot make it past this point, we, as his community who have benefited so much from him in our lives, want to do all we can to care and provide for for his baby girl and wife in his absence. We are seeking to raise as much funding as possible to support Christina, through Anky's final stages of care, and to provide for baby Leia's future, to whatever degree possible, without this very very special father in her life.
