In Support of the Zaionz Family

Donation protected

Family, Friends and Beloved,

It is with sadness that I share that we lost the world's most wonderful woman today at 07:46 on August 25, 2021 at the very young age of 43.

Gloria ~ Wife to Todd, Mother to Jacob and Nathan, Daughter to Grace and John Sheh, Sister to David and Betty Sheh, and friend to many.

We are grateful to know that her Faith held her strong until the end and that she is now with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Zaionz household fell ill to Covid mid July, after finding out that they were exposed by a close friend's family. A week later after not recovering with standard treatments and Urgent Care visits, the family went to the ER and was subsequently admitted for their symptoms.

Jacob was at a missionary camp, and by the grace of God was able to avoid the house and ended up in a hotel where he stayed until it was safe to return home.

Nathan was admitted to Children's ICU and was there for a couple of weeks and fully recovered. Todd was treated and after his oxygenation improved was released after just over a week in the hospital.

Glorias breathing did not improve and on July 25th, Gloria and the medical team mutually agreed the best treatment was to be sedated and placed on a ventilator.

We all believed that the ventilation would be a temporary measure to allow more time to let her lungs heal. Her saturations were not high enough with the standard oxygen or BiPap treatments, and breathing was becoming hard for her.

Todd was at her bedside as much as he could be while battling his own symptoms, and until the state shut down regular visiting due to a new hospital visitors guideline.

On August 25th, Gloria went on to be with the Lord, after a long hard fight from her, Todd and the medical team.

Her family is overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and community love that helped to float them during the hardest days of their lives. The number of people that have shown up to pray and offer support, food, groceries, etc. has been such a blessing.

Many people have been asking "What can I do?" As we feel helpless when a loss like this occurs. We all grieve because of this loss. She is too young, and she had much work still to do here.

There are no actions that can take the pain away. All we can do now is look at this beautiful family and ask, as a community of support, how can we help them move forward and pour out love?

If you feel so inclined to help, the donations will be used for the following purposes:

~Green burial expenses. Gloria loved everything organic and natural and had requested an eco-Green burial.

~Celebration of Life expenses. - Gloria loved community and people and was so generous. She was known for her Chinese New Year celebrations, her Shabbat dinners, the random get-togethers of neighbors coffee and friends. The family wants to remember her life in the way she lived it, in celebration.

~Her Boys - Aside from her husband Todd, her boys are her world.  She would frequently post about her boys under the hashtag #thankheaven4boys.  The oldest, Jacob is still attending SFSU and Nathan will be graduating high school this year. Any additional money will be set aside for their education or future expenses.

The funds will all go directly to the family

Thank you friends and family.

Rom 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Gratefully yours,

Makenzie Kelly (good friend of Gloria)
