In support of the family of Jadyn Spencer

Donation protected
Jadyn Spencer was a beautiful, big-hearted soul with a smile that lit up the world. At 22, this young man had his whole life ahead of him and a family that loved him. On April 10th 2020, Jadyn lost his life to suicide. His family is devastated and will forever be affected by his loss. His parents and three siblings are suffering from grief that no one should ever have to endure.

Jadyn’s mother, Angie Gannon, has been a part of the Swedish Medical Center family for over 14 years.  During that time she has touched the lives of many, both as patients and as peers. She has devoted her life to helping others, both at work and in her personal life.  She is one of those individuals that can always be relied on to step up and help when needed. Angie and her family now need our help. They are grieving and facing financial and emotional struggles due to this terrible tragedy. It is our wish to help the family recieve the counseling they will need and to support the surviving three siblings as they navigate their lives without Jadyn.

Unfortunately, Angie has had her hours reduced due to the pandemic that is affecting us all. This is our opportunity to help Angie and her family during this most difficult time. Realizing this is a challenging time for most of us, any help would be much appreciated.  This is what family does for each other; this is what Angie would do for us, helping any way she could during the most vulnerable times.

Life will be forever changed without Jadyn and any help that you can provide for this deserving family would be appreciated. There is no donation that is too small and every little bit helps. Please feel free to forward this request through social media.
The proceeds of this GoFundMe will go directly to his family for the financial support needed.

These are the beautiful words written by Jadyn’s sister Hailey Spencer:

Jadyn was most happy with a paintbrush in his hand, sketching in a notebook, photographing his nature shots or writing his expert review about a new movie. He found joy in sharing his love of Sci-Fi and art with others, to create and express his emotion through his work. He gave everyone he knew handcrafted gifts. Jadyn had the ability to bring joy into every situation, he wore his heart on his sleeve so that others could see it and feel immediately welcomed into his bear hug. Always a listening ear or a hand to hold, Jadyn gave his heart to anyone lucky enough to hold it.

He is survived by parents Angela Gannon and LaMont Spencer Jr, stepparents Joshua Gannon and Karen Spencer, siblings Hailey Spencer, Kade Gannon, Tristan Gannon, and Paityn Spencer, maternal grandparents Joyce and Glen Bruning, paternal grandparents Carolyn and LaMont Spencer Sr, Step-Grandparents; Michael and Brenda Gannon maternal extended family Uncle Mark Kranz, Aunt Stacey Kranz, cousins McKenzie and Macie Kranz, paternal extended family; Uncle Damian Spencer, Aunt Trachelle Spencer and cousin Ellis Spencer, and Step-Uncle Shane and Step-Aunt Autumn Gannon, and Step-Cousins Camille and London Gannon.
