Hello everyone,

I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister, Tara Mochan. Tara is the cornerstone of our family—strong, resilient, and an incredible fighter.

Tara is someone people naturally turn to in both good times and challenging moments, knowing they will be met with understanding, and unwavering support. She has a genuine, selfless way of showing up for others that leaves a lasting impact, making those around her feel valued and cared for. Because of the compassion and loyalty she gives so freely, she is surrounded by a strong and loving circle of family and friends who are always there for her every step of the way.

She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, which doctors have described as “incurable”. Since her initial diagnosis, the cancer has progressed to her bones, liver, and now in her lungs. Unfortunately, the current treatments have not been effective and come with significant financial costs.

As a result of her illness, she is unable to work, and her income is very limited.

Tara is now exploring alternative treatment options in hopes of continuing her fight. These options, along with associated travel and supportive therapies, and holistic approaches also come with more expenses.

From the beginning, she has also faced ongoing challenges within the healthcare system, adding further stress during an already difficult time.

Despite everything, we remain hopeful and continue to pray for a miracle. Tara is not giving up, and neither are we.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly toward supporting her care, treatment, and the many expenses associated with this journey.
