In Support of Sue and Steve Smith

As may already know, Steve suffered a massive stroke late Saturday night in Medicine Hat. He was rushed to Foothills Hospital in Calgary by 7am Sunday morning and had surgery at 7:30am. Steve is stable and in ICU. He currently has a breathing tube that may come out soon and has movement on his left side. Susan flew in Sunday and is by his side. You can see updates on Steve's condition often on her Facebook page. This gofundme is to help offset the enormous expenses that Susan and Steve will incur while Steve is on his road to recovery. Susan is staying in Calgary and this would allow her to focus her attention on Steve without worrying about expenses and help his family come see him as well. Its unclear how long Steve will need to stay in Calgary as his condition needs to be more stable before he returns to BC.
