Samuel Neifer, a 22 year old axe throwing enthusiast from Genoa, OH   unexpectedly passed away on Monday, March 9th.

 An incredibly enthusiastic, passionate member of the axe throwing community, a loving son and boyfriend. Described by his friends and family as an “infectious spirit, great friend, the funniest and nicest guy I’ve ever known, kind hearted, amazing soul.” Since starting leagues at Axe 419, Sam’s love of axe throwing and those around him seemed to know no bounds. Attending multiple leagues and attending the 2020 Arnold Open. The axe throwing community lost a truly great person. The family has requested that anyone attending the memorial wear flannel because of Sam’s love of axe throwing.
