In Support of Robert "Nutch" Riestra

Robert Riestra, known to his family as Bobby, and to his friends as Nutch, has
recently asked for this fundraising account to be established. 

Nutch can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. He clearly realizes he will face a myriad of expenses associated with recovering that will not be covered by insurance, private or public.

Those of you following the updates on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/nutch are well aware that our buddy has been through hell and back fighting Covid-19. Please keep in mind this is on top of his pre-existing medical conditions; Kidney Dialysis, Congestive Heart Failure, Diabetes and Neuropathy.  

Nutch told the doctors nothing can kill him because he has "Cockroach blood" coursing through his veins. He told his sister Lisa today that nothing can "Kill a Zombie." Nutch has never lost his quick wit nor his sense of humor while staring down death and kicking it to the curb. 

In reality, the doctor who treated Nutch for over two months, told his sister that Nutch is a miracle to overcome his many health issues. It's not often you hear a person of science refer to a patient being a miracle. Only Nutch.

Nutch has the same spirit and zest for life today as he did when he rode that wheelie down Sonora as a teenager.  He might have been even heading for Taco Naco.

Nutch is a one-of-a-kind human that only comes around once in a generation. Let's rally to his side and help him experience more moments of pure joy.
