In support of Ozan Tarabus
Donation protected
In April of 2017 at the age of 48, Ozan Tarabus, a father of two children, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He was given a 50% chance of living 12 months. He was being treated at Northwestern Medicine under a clinical trial, which included weekly visits to the city for chemo and other visits. Recently, after enduring a grueling year of chemo, he stopped his treatments. Last week he received the news that the cancer has progressed and he will be placed into hospice care.
He was working here and there at his job at College of DuPage until he went on disability. He doesn't receive enough money to pay for his house, kids, and stacking medical bills. We expect that his needs will be greater than $15, 000. His needs help immediately so he is not stressed about supporting his children and managing his bills.
Monies donated will go towards medical bills, household and child expenses. Will also go to expected expenses in the future.
We are unsure of how much hospice care will assist with chores, groceries, and driving needs, so if anyone can help directly with that, please let us know.
