Macklin James Gamellia was a light and joy to everyone who knew him. At thirteen years old, he was smart, affectionate, mischevious, and funny. He loved music, books, and his family.

Macklin was born with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome, a rare genetic condition, and he beat the odds so many times throughout his young life. It's with great sadness that we share that Macklin passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2026. Those close to him, as well as those whose lives he touched briefly, will miss him tremendously.

This fundraiser is in support of his mother and three sisters, for funeral arrangements and living expenses as they grieve. We are asking for financial contributions to help carry them through this unimaginable loss and ease some of the stress at this time.
