In support of Karla

Karla Dornacher has spent decades creatively sharing her love of God with the world. She has written over two dozen books and contributed her art to numerous bible studies. Her faith is front and center in her life. Karla has said, “… I believe that God is continually in the process of writing our stories… working all things together for good… our past, our present, and our future as we walk with Him through this messy, sometimes painful… sometimes joyful, place we call life."

Karla is walking through a very painful crisis in her life at this time. Her husband of 48 years had a stroke with a brain bleed last Thursday. He is now in the ICU while the doctors try to understand the magnitude of damage done by the blood clot.

Over the past few years Michael has been Karla’s support system and she has been their primary wage earner. He makes their dinners and is by her side as she works on her latest creative endeavor. At this time, Karla’s focus will need to be on Michael, and not their income,  as he goes through rehab and works on gaining his strength back. The funds raised will allow her to do this. It will give Karla a much needed break from focusing on medical bills and other upcoming payments.
