In support of Kari Melnychuk and her family

In April of this year my good friend Kari was diagnosed with breast cancer. It came as a major shock as at the time she was only 37 years old. No one expected to hear this news.
Kari is a devoted wife to her husband Jeff, and mother to her 3 amazing children, Alexander (18), Oliver (13), and Harleigh (10). She has continued to make life as normal as possible for her family but needless to say this has had a severe impact on all of them.
Her life has been a series of chemo treatments, tests, endless appointments and surgeries ever since. Kari has continued to work despite it all, as their family cannot survive without her income. Unfortunately missing work has been inevitable, which means a lot of missed income for her family.
With more surgeries coming up, Kari will be missing even more work. This will be detrimental to her and her family. Not to mention the emotional toll that cancer plays on a family. I am starting this campaign in hopes that we can all pull together and help this family get through a very tough time.
All donations will go to the family to help offset expenses so that they can focus on Kari getting well, and not have to worry about the financial burden during this time, and in the future.
