In support of Kalix Langenau family

It is with an extreme heavy heart we announce the passing of Kalix Langenau who was found on February 17th, 2020. Kalix was a son, big brother, nephew, friend and a role model to so many. He was an incredibly great young man who we were all lucky to be surrounded with. He will be missed beyond belief and has left a huge hole in our lives, his time was cut far to short.
We will take this one day at a time as we process this but at this moment the last thing I want his family to worry about is having to even imagine going to work as we move through the next weeks, months and beyond so I am doing this as just that.
We appreciate everyone around Calgary and further who shared the posts about him missing and this was the absolute worst outcome, we prayed so hard. Kalix we love you so much and we will be with your family through this time.

I, Courtney Bleile, will be in charge of withdrawing the funds for the family. These will be used for the cost of the funeral. Any funds above and beyond that will be able to hopefully lessen their financial burden during this unexpected time. These funds will support the family and be set aside for his siblings and potentially the idea of a scholarship in honour of Kalix’ memory.
