On behalf of the Spring 95 line of the Beta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., we are asking for your help and support of our beloved line brother #3, Jermaine Rogers, during this difficult time. For those who do not know, Jermaine and his family are mourning the passing of his son, Jordan Hutchins. We are asking everyone who would like to support the family and our brother, to please show your love and support through monetary donations. All donations will support the family and their funeral expenses, in addition to creating a trust fund for Jordan's daughter.

Obituary for Jordan Hutchins

Jordan Michael Hutchins was born April 24, 1990, to Jermaine Rogers and Michele Hutchins in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Jordan attended Battle Creek Central High School and Calhoun County Community School in Battle Creek, Michigan. Jordan also attended Northwestern High in Hyattsville, Maryland. Jordan worked at DENSO Manufacturing.

Jordan collected sneakers and had quite a collection. Jordan was a sports advocate and had an entrepreneurial spirit. He was loved by everyone. He was very humorous and never met a stranger. He made you feel so comfortable. He was so giving and not selfish.

Jordan at the age of 31, he transitioned from this life on August 17, 2021, from a tragic automobile accident. Jordan leaves to cherish his loving memory his daughter, Liyah Hutchins of Battle Creek, Michigan; his sisters, Mckenzie Hutchins from Stone Crest, Georgia and Micah-Ferrel Rogers from Upper Marlboro, Maryland; his mother, Michele Hutchins from Stone Crest, Georgia and his father, Jermaine Rogers from Upper Marlboro, Maryland; maternal grandmother, Charlene Cribbs from Stone Crest, Georgia; maternal grandfather, James Hutchins of Battle Creek; paternal grandmother, Vickie Broomfield of Battle Creek; paternal grandfather, Jeffery Rogers of Battle Creek; uncle, Michael Hutchins from Stone Crest, Georgia and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. Jordan is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents and his paternal great-grand parents.

The funeral service will be held at the Kingdom Builders Worldwide, 50 Spencer Street, on Friday, August 27, 2021, 1:00 pm with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
