In Support of Danielle Harker & Her Family

Danielle is 33 years old; she was diagnosed in August of 2021 with stage 3 bowel cancer and started chemotherapy straight away. Unfortunately, we received the news in January 2022 of it spreading and is now at stage 4. She is currently resting in Pendle Side Hospice.

Danielle has two beautiful children, Shae aged 3, and Arlo aged 2, and a loving husband, Anthony.

As an EG Group Starbucks family, we want to support Danielle and her family through this difficult time.

Danielle joined EG group Starbucks for the grand opening of Burnley Barracks in April 2019. Danielle started as a supervisor when she first joined. During her time here she has welcomed Shae and Arlo to her family. When Danielle returned from her second maternity leave, she was successfully promoted to Store Manager.

Danielle has touched and inspired countless hearts including customers, peers, and colleagues. Her bubbly personality and determination to accomplish anything is truly inspiring.

EG Group Starbucks Partners will be completing a 500km challenge at The Gym Group Burnley in an effort to raise donations for Danielle’s Husband, Anthony, and two young children, Shae and Arlo.

Colleagues and Peers of Danielle will be dusting off the gym gear, shimming in their shorts, and digging out the pink apparel ready for the 9th of April. We have the challenge of completing 500km with one spinning bike, one cross trainer, and 17 (unfit) coffee lovers.
