In Support of Christine Evans & Her Family
Donation protected
Hi, this is Cassie, and I am a parent at Parley's Park Elementary. Christine Evans is our amazing receptionist who greets us parents and our children at the school's front desk. You may also know that her sweet granddaughter, Kinley Rose, has been battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer called Neuroblastoma. Unfortunately, the doctors have determined that nothing additional can be done and she is now at home on end-of-life hospice care.
Kinley's parent's main goal now is keeping her comfortable, but she has been in intense pain and requires pain management dosing at least every three hours throughout the day and night. Her parents are her primary caregivers; hospice nurses come by only twice a week. They are both trying to work full-time jobs from home while taking care of their baby girl. In addition to all of this, the bills are mounting from years of cancer treatment for Kinley.
The goal for this fundraiser is to make it just a little bit easier for Kinley's parents. They are unable to leave the home, and are so exhausted after a long day of work and caring for Kinley that even making meals is cumbersome. We would like to raise enough money for them to purchase a large "Deep Freezer" to keep frozen meals in and any additional money to be put towards a meal delivery service (example: Beehive Meals).
Christine wanted to reiterate that they are so beyond grateful for the love and support of this community. In fact, they initially did not want to ask for help at all as they believe they have received so much already. But if you are inclined during this holiday season to help out the Neufeld family, they are so very thankful.
