Our friend Mark Mahuka passed away on or about Friday, November 3, 2023. Mark had been missing for several days before he was found so an exact date is not known. Mark and Susan had been going through a challenging period before Mark’s passing. Mark had been diagnosed with epilepsy, and Susan believes the medication contributed to a change in his personality. Mark had also recently become unemployed, leaving Susan the additional challenge of managing the finances on just her social security. Mark passed away without a life insurance policy or any savings to help Susan survive without him.

Through the years Susan has provided Mark with love and stability, she needs our help now to cover his final expenses. I cannot think of a better way to honor Mark during this difficult time than to support the woman he loved. Susan is a giver, the type of person that offers help and is not comfortable asking for it when needed. It was with great reluctance, and persuasion, that she has allowed me to set this page up for her. I know times are difficult, but even the slightest contribution will help ease her burden, and I believe bring a smile to Mark’s soul. A gentle reminder of his humor that made us all smile.
