With a heavy heart, we notify our community of the passing of Austin, an incredible member of our field team at Deschutes Wilderness Therapy.

On Thursday, October 29th, we were notified that Austin had tragically passed while on a hike during his off-shift. Austin has been an incredible member of our team and was instrumental in supporting countless students' healing processes. He was an avid adventurer, a wonderful friend, a trusted colleague, and a life lost much too soon.

Please join us as we extend our deepest condolences to Austin's entire family, his friends, and all of those whose lives he impacted.
