It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our loved one, Yasmin Garcia. She lost her life due to an overdose that was not accidental, and her death is currently under investigation. She was with someone who provided the drugs, and there is concern that what she was given may have been laced, possibly with fentanyl.
We are still seeking answers, and this process has been incredibly painful for our family.
Yasmin was only 22 years old and was about to turn 23 this upcoming February.
She had so much life ahead of her, so many dreams, and so much love to give.
Her life was taken far too soon.
We want to share this not only to honor her truth, but also to warn others. Please do not trust anyone who offers you drugs, even if they are people you know or substances you may have taken before.
Drugs today are unpredictable. Fentanyl has taken so many lives, and overdoses happen every day-even when people don't think they're at risk. The safest choice is not to take drugs at all. They still kill, no matter what.
We have created this GoFundMe to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, along with other costs that come with laying a loved one to rest. Our family is going through an extremely difficult time emotionally and financially. Money is very
tight right now, and any support-whether through a donation or simply sharing this page-would mean more than we can express.
Please keep our family in your prayers as we grieve the loss of a beautiful soul who deserved so much more life.
Any donation, share, or prayer means more than we can express. Thank you for helping us honor my sister’s life and keep her memory alive.
Thank you for your love, kindness, and support during this heartbreaking time.
