Help Us Rebuild Lives After the Wayanad Landslide Natural Disaster!
Dear Friends,
In the serene hills of Mundakkai and Chooralmala, Wayanad, where the lush greenery once stood as a symbol of nature’s grandeur, tragedy has struck with unforgiving force. The
recent landslide has left behind a path of devastation, displacing families, destroying homes, and turning dreams into rubble. Amidst the wreckage, countless lives have been upended, leaving our fellow citizens in dire need of support. More than 400 people were killed and 273 were injured in the landslides, 138 were still missing and the toll is increasing. The Indian Army has rescued more than 1,000 people from the hillside villages and tea and cardamom estates in Wayanad district and has begun the process to construct an alternate bridge after the main bridge linking the worst affected area of Mundakkai to the nearest town of Chooralmala was destroyed.
In these challenging times, your generosity can be a beacon of hope. Donations will provide immediate relief, such as food, clean water, and medical aid, and contribute to long-term recovery efforts, including rebuilding homes and supporting affected families in their journey to restore normalcy. We urge you to extend your compassion and contribute to this vital cause. Every dollar you donate will help turn despair into hope and ensure that the people of Wayanad have the resources they need to rebuild their lives. Together, we can make a profound difference and demonstrate the power of our collective kindness in the face of adversity. 100% proceeds will be donated to Kerala CMDRF(Chief Ministers Distress Relief Fund)
Thank you for your support.
Warm regards,
Aju John.
