In Service to others

As An LEMC, something we occasionally do is raise money to benefit others in our community.
I am asking that we as a PUNISHER NATION step up and help a severely injured Motor Officer in New Mexico.
On Friday June 5, 2020 New Mexico State Police Sergeant Marc Mier was involved in a horrific motorcycle crash while on duty. As a result of the crash, Sgt. Mier sustained 2 broken femurs, a compound fracture in his forearm, severe heart trauma, severe trauma to his Aorta, a severe brain injury and multiple other broken bones. He was airlifted to UNMH in Albuquerque, NM where he underwent emergency surgery to stop his internal bleeding. During this surgery, he went into cardiac arrest. By the grace of God, Sgt. Mier survived the crash. His family is currently raising money to renovate his house and make it “handicap friendly”. I ask that ALL TREASURERS reach out to their respected President’s and Vice President’s and ask to assist in this effort using chapter dues (if possible). Personal donations would greatly be appreciated as well.
Sgt. Mier is an avid supporter of motorcycle riding in New Mexico. He has been with the State Police for over 20 years, with at least 18 years spent on the New Mexico State Police Motor Team. He is currently the teams commander. I know his family would appreciate whatever help we can give.
We will be closing this fundraiser on June 23, 2020 and will be personally presenting a check to the family with all dontations provided. If there are any questions, comments or concerns, my email is listed on this fundraiser. Please feel free to reach out.
Thank you,
