In ricordo di Marcello

Apro questa raccolta fondi per ricordare mio marito Marcello Cadioli scomparso il 12 Gennaio 2022 a causa di un tumore molto aggressivo. Abbiamo scoperto la sua malattia a giugno 2020 anche se aveva sintomi da qualche mese ma il COVID-19 ha ritardato la diagnosi e di conseguenza la cura. Purtroppo, a luglio 2021, pochi mesi dopo la chirurgia, abbiamo scoperto che aveva metastasi in molti organi e da lì ha avuto solo 5 mesi di vita.

Marcello era una persona solare, sensibile, ironico, disponibile, molto generoso e sempre attento ai bisogni degli altri. Era un padre, un marito, un amico e un collega premuroso e affettuoso. Era un bravissimo scientist. Ci manca moltissimo.

Ho scelto di ricordare Marcello sostenendo Emergency perché lui era un suo sostenitore e credo nei vari progetti su cui lavorano e hanno lavorato. Qualsiasi donazione può essere utile. Grazie in anticipo per il tuo contributo.

 

In memory of Marcello

I open this fundraiser to remember my husband Marcello Cadioli who passed away on 12 January 2022 due to a very aggressive tumor. We discovered he had early onset colorectal cancer in June 2020. COVID-19 delayed the diagnosis and consequently treatment. In July 2021, a few months after his surgery, we found out that his cancer had metastasized in many organs.

Marcello was a wonderful person, he was ironic, very generous and always attentive to the needs of others. He was a caring and loving father, husband, friend, and colleague. He was an amazing scientist. We miss him so much.

I want to remember Marcello by supporting Emergency because he was a supporter and I believe in several projects they work on and have worked on. Thanks in advance for your contribution.
