To Our Dearest Family and Friends,

A mother's love is like the sea never ending. From the moment of birth as she holds her new born baby, a bond is formed, an unspoken promise to love, cherish, and protect her child. When a child passes before their parent, there is no words that can be spoken to heal the longing of the child that is no longer on earth. And those remaining on earth will forever miss those who passed.

A son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, a grandson, and a friend has passed on August 22, 2021. Vilai Brandon Vongrasamy was born May 30, 1999. A small bundle of joy but grew and grew and grew to a wonderful man. No matter how long a person lived, as long as they have lived to the fullest that is the greatest joy. Vilai lived life the way he wanted to. He chose to aggravate his brother and sister but also protected them with everything he had. No matter how big or small he was their defender unless it was against his uncle. That is one person he has yet to beat. A cousin for life, who begs for food only to earn him the nickname "Snacks" since young. A grandson who always remembers to call and ask if there is anything else that is needed before coming over to visit. A friend who can be depended on when someone needs bail or potentially needs bail.

My son, as your mother, nothing can describe my pain. My love for you is never ending like the sea. You are my mountain, you help weather me through my ups and downs. Before school, you would wake up, get ready, and before leaving you would come and check on me. When you got home from school, you called me. You never made me worry about you. You have always been my strongest supporter as I am yours as well. I am so proud of you. If there is life, there is death. The time we spent together is well spent. We have great memories together. You are forever loved and missed.
