In Remembrance of Stephen Cook

Hello Everyone, Stephen Cook of St. Joseph MO died March 12, 2021 at 49 years old. He had just finished work for the week, he was taking his coworker home,, as he had done for 1 1/2 years. Stephen got about a mile away, came to a complete stop, put the car in park and passed away. His coworker is only 20, did not know what to do. Flagged a vehicle down to call 911. On February 14th in the emergency room was diagnosed with an Aortic Aneurysm. He was to go into surgery on March 18th. Stephen had the ultimate zeal for life. If you ever meet him he always had a smile on his face. I knew him for 34 years, never had a negative thing to say. In 34 years I only heard him swear once and it was when someone came up behind him putting a knife up his shorts touching his family jewels. Stephen was a 5th degree Black Belt in  Hapkido and Taekwondo. He only would use is for defense, never attacking anyone. He ended up befriending the person who pulled the knife. Stephen saw the positive in Everyone. His sense of humor could make anyone laugh. His Coworker become like his adoptive son (20 years old), Stephen was like the best adoptive Dad a boy could have. Stephen had no family, wife or children. His parents proceeded him into heaven. This fundraiser is to pay all Celebration of Life expenses and get his coworker a car to get back and forth to work. His coworker would go to the store with him, gas station to fuel up, go to the laundromat with him, etc. He would even do this on days off. He truly was a great son to Stephen please donate and Share this to get the word out. Thank you!
