We are all extremely heartbroken by the sudden loss of our beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Friend Richard "Rick" Harriman. Rick was a kind, loving, passionate, outgoing, hardworking, and generous Man of Faith. Rick was the life of the party and with him around there was never a dull moment; he will be greatly missed.
Rick married the love of his life Marisa on December 29, 2018 and together they blended a beautiful family with three girls, Hannah, Aubree and Samantha. Their home was always filled with laughter, joy and so much love. Rick was truly devoted to his family and extended family. He gave so much of himself at home, work and especially when serving. Rick served for many years in the children and youth ministry. Mr. Rick, as the kids knew him, was a staple at every church event. He was a father figure, older brother, and friend to so many students. We can't say enough about his heart for others and his heart for GOD.
Rick had a thriving career at UPS and was being considered for a promotion, he genuinely enjoyed the work he did and those he did it with. He took pride in everything he did; he worked for an audience of ONE in all he did.
They recently sold their house in Covina and purchased their forever home in Riverside and were in the process of moving in. The devastating aspect of this, is that, he was killed while on his way to their new home. August 21st would have been his first night in his new home; he never made it to Riverside.
On the evening of Saturday August 21, 2021 Rick was involved in a motorcycle accident. He was taken to Pomona Valley Trauma Center where every effort was made to save him but sadly he succumbed to his injuries. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are reaching out to all who knew him in hopes that we can provide his family with some financial support. Donations will assist in laying him to rest and to cover the cost of any additional burdens that resulted from his sudden passing. Rick never hesitated to assist, help and aid others when he was needed, hence, we wanted to honor him by doing the same. He did not make it to Riverside that evening, but we know, that he is home in God's glory.
We understand some may not be comfortable donating via gofundme, you may also donate directly to the Harriman Family via Rebekah Tavera-Gonzalez or Marlene Salazar.
