It is the most disheartening feeling that we are having to write this tribute for a beloved mother, sister, daughter, aunt & friend. Rebeca passed away on March 6th, 2021 at 8:30 pm. Her family is still processing the loss of this wonderful wild spirit, that left so unexpectedly. She was the Founder of MOOV magazine were so many were able to see the amazing talent she possessed, she showcased the wonderful talents of so many. She was such an incredible artist and graphic designer, enigmatic and caring soul, having accomplished so much in her 41 years of life, winning awards for helping youth tackle issues in the community and so much more. She meant the world to so many and was the core of her family unit, she has created so many memories with so many. Unfortunately, Rebeca did not have insurance, and with the unexpected loss, the family is left juggling to make ends meet with the funeral costs. Rebeca has two young children one of 17 and one of 4 years old who now will have to grow only with the pictures, videos and stories of their mother. We are asking for donations so that we can help facilitate the funeral arrangements and help her son's transition into this unfortunate new norm they are forced to live with, any amount is helpful.
We would also like to ask for stories and picture's between you and Rebeca Maralit, to be posted below or can be sent to maralit1234 @gmail.com so we can show them to her son's as they grow so they can learn of all the people who loved their mother dearly and how she helped so many around her. Rebeca's sister and father will be allocating the money to her children and funeral costs.
We appreciate all of those who have posted about her and for those who have reached out. We ask for privacy at this moment so that all those most affected by her loss can pick up the pieces and begin to try and heal from this tremendous loss.
