Shortly before 11 pm on December 12, 2020, God called Tanya home.
On November 29, Tanya was taken by ambulance to Desert Valley Hospital where she tested positive for COVID and had a severe case of pneumonia. She fought hard, but breathing complications significantly affected her fight and intubation was necessary. Tanya's husband, Tim, was dispatched to the hospital to be with Tanya before the procedure. Tanya confidently confirmed her faith in Jesus Christ and professed her earnest love for him before sedation. Tim kissed her into sleep. Unfortunately, they were not able to stabilize her vitals and after several attempts to revive her, she passed away.
Tanya is survived by her mother, step father, brother, aunts and uncles, a paternal grandma, Iowa family of in laws, and neices and nephews that loved her dearly. The family is desperately grieving at this time.
Tanya was a dynamic preschool teacher and loved by many. Her loss has created a significant hole in the hearts of all those students who loved her and learned so much in her classroom.
Her sudden death has left the family completely unprepared to honor her wishes in death. This campaign was created with the hopes of raising some money to cover funeral costs and her creamation wishes. Anything will help and we thank you in advance for your support.
The money raised here will be given directly to Tim and will significantly help him in this difficult time.
