In remembrance of Michael "Mixup" Mixon
Donation protected
As many may have already heard, on December 11th Michael "Mixup" Mixon passed away due to a tragic accident at the young age of 40 years old. Mike was a devoted son, a loyal friend to many and family to most as well as a pillar of the Marvel vs Capcom fighting community.
Michael Mixon was better known as “Mixup” in the Marvel Fighting Game Community. By making a name for himself as well as showing and sharing his skills in fighting games, players from all over the world would come to Pensacola to game with him. Mike was an accomplished professional gamer who loved to mentor, share his knowledge and was an inspiration to fellow gamers. He’s placed Top 3 to Top 10 in numerous Marvel vs. Capcom 2 tournaments in the early 2000s as well being on the famous West Coast vs. East Coast Team Tournament for Marvel vs. Capcom 2 at Evo 2003. Mixup was well known for one of his teams, Magneto, Storm, Tron Bonne in MvC2. Whether or not you were on the end of a Magnetic Tempest, he loved the fighting game community like family and what fighting game competition brought.
Outside of gaming, Mike was a talented artist who had a passion for creating hypnotic emotionally powerful designs with hidden messages and meanings, which people close to Mike would agree mirrors his mentality and life approach.
With this GoFundMe, I am raising money to cover the expenses to properly put Michael's body to rest and celebrate his life in the way he and his legacy deserves.
Details for the memorial service will be provided as an update.
