In remembrance of Bob Davis

My name is Stephanie I am the sister in law to Bob Davis. We are saddened to announce that god has called Bob home, he fought well and hard through his cancer diagnosis for the last 16 months as most of you know. Beginning of May Bob was transferred to UofM Hospital as a tumor had grown on his spine causing him to be paralyzed from the waist down, the doctors worked endlessly trying to shrink the tumor, he was doing PT and working hard to regain his strength in his legs, he developed some blood clots that caused more difficulty with his ongoing battle, God seen his struggle and his pain and called him home to be free and at ease. Bob, through his battle never lost sight of what was truly important, cancer did not steal his light, his positivity or his faith. He had the absolute best outlook on life no matter what struggles he endured. He was the Safety director at Indian Trails and absolutely took pride in that job, he truly enjoyed what he did. He still never missed a moment to take his kids on adventures to make cherish-able memories to last a life time. His greatest pride in life was his children and he was an amazing father to them. He went above and beyond, always putting them at the top, cheering them on, he always showed up, he never missed a moment with them. If you had the privilege to know Bob, you were truly blessed! Bob was an amazing father who took pride in doing all the things he could with his 5 amazing children Lyric, Eliah, Judah, Jehiah and Harper. His untimely call to the heavenly gates has left an emptiness in many hearts, but we know he is happy walking with Jesus. We as a family are putting this fundraiser together in hopes to give Bob the final send off he deserves. Any help would be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go to Bob’s parents Bob and Mary Davis towards Cremation, memorial services and any other costs associated with this saddening loss, anything leftover will go towards helping his 5 children continue to make memorable adventures in honor of their dad.
* We will have a memorial service in remembrance of Bob on June 22nd 2024 from 2pm-5pm at the First United Methodist Christ
1500 N Water Street Owosso, MI a luncheon will be provided.
As a request from Bob himself who always dressed his best, he asks that everyone dress up in their best, colorful clothing (please no black if you can help it).
Thank you all for your condolences and for your support during such a hard time.
Continue to keep his children and family in your prayers.
