In Remeberance of Francisco Rivera IV (Frankie)

My 31-year journey on this earth was not easy.

 

Despite being talented and funny - fear, trauma, and mental illness kept me from doing many things I wanted to do.

 

I dreamed of things like...

 

I own 5 bedroom house - a room for each kid. I own my car and manage a recording studio.

I get to know my son and experience the person he is becoming.

I raise my daughters to be fearless.

I am close with my family.

I can afford the best medical care for my mother.

I have the courage to stand up for the people that need protection.

& I am no longer afraid to admit I want to love someone fully - without anger, fear, or jealousy.

 

Those things will not come to fruition, but I promise I was trying.

 

I want you all to know that even though I had dark days, I felt hopeful, loved, and safe these last few weeks.

 

Thank you for being there through the good and bad & don't forget to love yourself.
