Hi, my name is Sharon, and this is incredibly difficult for me to write. I never thought I’d find myself here — asking for help — but I’m in a situation I can’t manage alone anymore.
For a while now, I’ve been struggling with serious dental issues that affect me every single day. The pain is constant, and it’s affecting every part of my life — from eating and sleeping to speaking and even smiling. I’ve done my best to push through, but the reality is that I need professional dental treatment, and I can’t afford it.
I need a full-mouth restoration. My teeth are damaged, decaying, and in urgent need of care. The treatment plan consists of six sessions, each addressing a different part of my mouth, and with costs so high, I’ve reached a point where I have no choice but to ask for help from my community.
How the $ Goal Breaks Down:
The full treatment will take place over six sessions, each estimated at $800, totaling $4,800. Here’s what that includes:
Session 1:Total Payable $1860
Total Payable to dentist $1091
Payable by patient $769 – Extractions of severely damaged or decayed teeth.
Session 2: Total Payable to dentist $1522
Total Payable to dentist $803
Patient cost $718 – Extractions of severely damaged or decayed teeth
Session 3: Total Payable to dentist $1484
Total Payable $836
Patient cost $647 – Extractions of severely damaged or decayed teeth
Session 4: Total Payable to dentist $1860
Total Payable $1091
Patient cost $768 – Extractions of severely damaged or decayed teeth
Session 5: Total Payable to dentist $1755
Total Payable $953
Patient cost $801 – Extractions of severely damaged or decayed teeth
Session 6: Total Payable to dentist $1522
Total Payable $1091
Patient cost $768 – Extractions of severely damaged or decayed teeth.
Total out-of-pocket: $ 4,473. Payable to the dentist.
Canadian Dental Plan insurance will pay about 1/3 or so of the total cost.
Total for Dental Work: $10,003
This does not include the dentures or other expenses following all these extractions.
To ensure I can cover everything — including prescriptions, post-treatment care, travel, and any unforeseen costs — I’ve set the fundraising goal at $6,000.
I’m doing everything I can to stay hopeful and positive, but the truth is that the pain is getting harder to manage. If you’re able to help in any way — by donating, sharing this, or even just offering a kind word — it would mean the world to me.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping me get my health and my smile back.
