In our darkest hour dreams still shine through

Six weeks ago, my son Ryan, ate some chicken wings, that we’re about to change his life… they became a lump in his abdomen causing him extreme pain that lasted for several days. He ended up in the ER where they told him to take laxatives and sent him home. A couple weeks went by and the pain never ceased so we told him to get a scan of his abdomen. When the doctor received the results from the scan, she called him to her office immediately, just an hour before her office was about to close. The diagnosis was devastating…stage four colon cancer. This can’t be happening, he was a perfectly healthy 36 year old. The next 18 hours were traumatic, numbing and heartbreaking has we all sat there and listened to this precious young man tell us this news…Afterwards, as his mom he spoke to me about things that he wanted to happen, and he wanted them to happen quickly. He wants to marry the girl who has been by his side for the last four years. And her little boy, or as Ryan would say “his little boy”, who has been in his life from the moment he was born. He wants to adopt him and give him his name, and he wants to try for another child right away. This is a lot for a young man of 36 to accomplish quickly, even a healthy one. It’s because of this and prescription costs and medical bills, that we set up this “go fund me” to help this incredible young man, who brings so much joy, light, love and laughter to everyone who has ever met him, to help his dreams come true…
We ALL want his dreams to come true…
Whatever you can give is incredibly appreciated and may God bless you for your kindness and generosity during one of our darkest moments.
