The number of Americans who suffer from addiction is at a high. According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), 19.7 million American adults (aged 12 and older) were identified to have a substance use disorder in 2017 and the numbers are growing in 2019. 

The Empowerment House is a Trenton, New Jersey based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is designed to offer up to a year of housing to individuals who are struggling with drug/alcohol addiction and transitioning back into society after being released from prison, treatment, referred to us by state, county, and/or other entities. Our primary goal is to provide a safe and drug free environment for men and women who struggle with substance/alcohol use and up to 1 year of housing. The Empowerment House will focus on developing the individual's pro-social skills, life skills, money management skills, job readiness, self-help education, therapy/counseling resources, and offer means to family reunification. It is our anticipation to help educate, cultivate, and assist with transforming the lives of individuals who struggle with substance/alcohol use and distorted thinking for the better.
