Hello friends and family! As many of you know, teaching is one of my many passions! So much so, that I'm going into my 11th year!!! For the last 10 years, I've never had to ask for donations or start any kind of fundraiser for my kiddos, but we are in an unprecedented time. I have never minded reaching into my own pockets to supplement supplies and materials for my kids and the Aspire organization have always been  very generous when meeting the needs of the children we serve. Unfortunately, with budget cuts and this pandemic all schools have been hit hard and we are one of the hardest hit. From the description below, you'll see that Aspire works specifically with underserved communities and these babies are the ones who need the most help. Pictures like the one I posted before of my kids opening presents I provided bring them so much joy, and field trips to the zoo like the one above are treats for these kiddos. These will not happen this year and bringing joy factor to my kids will be lacking and to me personally, is the biggest heart break.

This will be my first year teaching 3rd grade, so my materials I've accumulated from teaching kinder, 1st, and 2nd will not meet their needs. I know we're all struggling right now, but every dollar counts! If you don't have money to donate, but supplies you'd like to give, please reach out to me personally. Every little bit counts.
